Yeah but atm rumored headliners are Blink, Green Day and Kasabian.
Hopefully Green Day fuck off and Muse headline and they get another big name instead of Kasabian.
i’ll probably only go on the blink day anyway, unless there’s someone really amazing on one of the others

Warning were not great either, and Insomniac and Nimrod are hardly top draw either.
Dookie and American Idiot are their only great records.
everything before the new one was great. indisputable.
I don’t think they’ll do anything that good again but obviously they could and for all we know the next record could be miiindblowing.
I just don’t think you can follow such good stuff with that without it leaving a nastttyy stain on the discography.if they did a set like this though;

I would have less than ZERO problems with them headlining.
I am not saying their stuff other than Dookie and American Idiot is bad as it isnt. However those are the only classic albums they have done and will be viewed as such in years to come. The others will not despite the fact they are decent and have a couple of very good tunes on each.
there is no way we’ll agree on this ever haha! 39/smooth is brilliant, nimrod and warning brilliant as well. better than american idiot I think. less over-produced as well, not that I don’t love american idiot.
literally everything they’ve ever released (and i own everything they’ve ever recorded including bootlegs, but will never, ever purchase 21st century breakdown) is streets ahead of almost every other punk-lite band that has sprung out of the west coast in the past few decades, that includes blink 182 (their self titled release excluded) and for the record, i actually think insomniac is a much better record than dookie, so whatevs
